BFAK Needs Your Help
In 2008, I founded Ballet For All Kids (BFAK), a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to teaching ballet to children of all abilities. With over 17 years of impactful service, BFAK has touched the lives of countless children and their families, offering them opportunities for growth, expression, and joy through the art of ballet. And now we need your help.
BFAK faces challenges, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. We experienced a significant loss of students and revenue during this time, yet our expenses, including rent and insurance, continued to accumulate. As we strive to rebuild our student base and sustain our operations, we are in need of support from generous individuals like yourself.
BFAK has had some exciting recent developments that highlight the significance of our work. Our program was featured in a documentary titled "Everybody Dance," which aired on PBS and is now available for viewing on Amazon. This documentary showcases the transformative power of ballet in the lives of children, regardless of their abilities. You can watch the trailer here.
Ballet For All Kids is now being recognized and supported by Regional Center, which means that our program is deemed beneficial for individuals with disabilities, and Regional Center will now pay for our services. Additionally, BFAK is currently being studied for its benefits to children with Autism by esteemed institutions such as the Seaver Autism Center at Mount Sinai in NYC and the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute.
